Omdat het er uitziet alsof ik niets doe, wil ik laten weten dat ik hard aan het werk ben. Ik werk aan de Stad-quilt (Texplosion) en aan de KISS quilt (uitdaging van Dijanne). Ik heb een zere duim door het quilten. Het handquilten moet ik daarom tijdelijk even laten voor wat het is. Het voelt als een beginnende peesontsteking. Die heb ik al eens gehad en wil ik niet nog een keer.
De Stad-quilt groeit. Ik vind hem nu al mooi. Als deze klaar is, laat ik hem hier ook zien.

As it seems as if I am not doing anything, I want to let you know that I am working very hard. On the City quilt for instance. But also on a quilt for the KISS challenge of Dijanne. I hurt my thumb because of the hand stitching on the last quilt. I think I have done to much hand stitching. So I have to stop doing that for a while. My City quilt is growing now. I love it already. When it is finished I will show it to you all.

I too have been doing more embroidery and beading and my fingers feel the toil.

sorry to hear about your hurt thumb...hand stitching can be a challenge. perhaps you need to try a different needle?
I love tulips...I think they are my favorite Spring flower, but they don't do well here in the South, as our summers are too warm. I have to replant new bulbs every Fall in order to have decent Spring blooms.
