Het experimentele lapje met borduursteken heb ik toch maar gebruikt voor een quilt. Er was ook nog een ander idee voor, maar ik wilde graag iets doen met deze kleurencombi. Ik wil door borduursteken, applicaties en versieringen er één geheel van maken en de kleuren wat meer naar elkaar toe trekken. Ik hoop dat dat gaat lukken. De basis is simpel en kleurrijk. Hopelijk levert dat laatste niet te veel problemen op. We zullen zien. Het is een soort experiment. En mocht het niets worden, dan kan ik er altijd nog een tas van maken of een serie ATC's of postkaarten ;-).The experimental piece of fabric I showed a few days ago is in this quilt in progress. I had an other idea for this fabric, but I wanted to do something with these colours. By using embroidery, applications and embellishments I want to merge and connect the colours of the blocks. I hope this will work. Now it is simple and colourfull. Hopefully I can make what's in my mind. We shall see. It's a kind of experiment. And if it will not work, I can always make a bag out of it, or a series ATC's or Postcards ;-).
