Textielkunst project - Textile Art Project

Donderdag starte het Textielkunst project van Vrouwen van Nu (NBvP). Er waren 22 vrouwen aanwezig. Mathilde verwelkomde iedereen en legde de bedoeling van het project uit. Daarna kreegen de aanwezige vrouwen ieder vijf minuten om iets te vertellen over het eigen werk. Er was een grote verscheidenheid. In verhouding waren er veel dames die quilts maken, maar er waren ook andere textielvormen te zien. Het was allemaal modern werk. Dit jaar zullen we nog drie maal in deze samenstelling bijeenkomen. In de tussentijd gaan we individueel (of samen voor wie dat wil) aan de slag met het thema 'Mijn sporen'. Het is de bedoeling dat het werk in 2010 gezamenlijk geëxposeerd wordt. Thursday was the day that the Textile Art Project of Vrouwen van Nu started. 22 woman came to Zwolle. Mathilde welcomed everyone of us and after that we could enjoy all the textile art everyone brought along. There were a lot of ladies who make quilts, but there were also some who are specialized in other textile crafts. This year we will meet again for three more times. In the meanwhile we will work on the theme 'My traces' at home. In 2010 we will expose our work together.
