Voor Around the world in 20 quilts ben ik bezig met het thema Stellar, wat stellair betekent. En dat is zoiets als sterrenstelsel. Het is voor mij een lastig thema, maar al denkend kwam ik bij sterrenbeeld en wilde dat combineren met sterren. Ik heb gekozen voor het sterrenbeeld Ram en dit hier boven is het proefje voor het quiltje wat ik voor Around the world in 20 quilts ga maken. Mijn man vond deze te druk "met al die vlakjes, sterren en zo". Zelf vind ik dit eigenlijk ook al wel mooi. Het andere quiltje wordt mooier denk ik.For Around the world in 20 quilts I am working with the theme Stellar. I find this a hard theme, but while I was thinking I thought about star signs. I chose for Aries. What you see here is a sample, to practice for the final quilt. My husband said this one is too full "with all those squares, stars, etc..". I kinda like it. But, I think the final quilt will be better.

Spannend, ik ben het met Emmy eens. Ik vind deze ook al mooi, vooral de steenbok!!
