Licht aan de linkerkant - Light at the left side

Vandaag heb ik besloten dat de rechterkant van de stormquilt de zonnige zijde wordt. En het groene ding zal een boom worden. Het moet een boom worden, want dat was van het begin af aan de bedoeling. Ik heb er nu ook weer vertrouwen in dat deze kant mooi gaat worden. Ik zat meer in mijn maag met de wijze waarop de rechterkant er uit moest zien. Donker, licht, vrolijk, verdrietig...
Lynn had het er in haar reactie over dat de figuren die je ziet er wat spookachtig uitzien. Ik ben blij dat anderen dit ook zien. Ze zijn deel van het verdrietige verhaal. Ik zal dit verhaal vertellen als de quilt af is, want het groeit mee met de quilt.

Today I decided that the right side of the stormquilt will be the sunny side. And the green thing will definitely be a tree. It has to be a tree, because that is what I designed. It will be ok and enhanced. I was most worried about the way the right side had to be painted: light, dark, happy, sad....
Lynn mentioned in her comment that the people you see are ghost like. Yes they are and are supposed to be that way. I am glad that others see it too. They are part of the sad story behind the scenery. I will tell the story when the quilt is finished. The story also grows with the quilt.

Creatief met de kinderen - Creative with the kids

Een blog zonder foto is ook zo kaal: Gisteren hebben onze kinderen en de buurkinderen lekker met klei gespeeld. Dat is toch ook creatief :-)

A blog without a picture is so dull: Yesterday our kids and the nabours kids played with clay. Isn't that creative? :-)
