Storm quilt weer een stap verder - Storm quilt another step futher

Today we had a wonderful meeting of the Dutch Bag Ladies at Sandra's house. Sandra gave us with a very tastful meal. She made an apple pie (jummie!) tomato soup, bread and a salade. Her children were/came home too during the day, so she had her hands full with her guests, serving the food and helping her children. I admire her strength and flexibility. I hope it was not to much for her. Thank you Sandra for the great meeting and all that you organized. I feel very lucky to be in this wonderful group of talented women!

Our group has grown to nine members now. Wietske Kluck joined in the club. She has an blog too, so you can look at her wonderful work there.

I did not finish my quilt. That is a pity. I thought I had one month more, but I found out that our meeting was in January, not February. But, I worked hard and this is how far I got.

Corryna, this looks very close to finished. You are such an exceptional artist. I cannot tell you how much I admire your work.
Were you a painter before you took up fabric art quilting? Take your time...this is a beautiful work of art.
I am happy for you having a group such as this to join with in person. A little bit envious too.
;-)
Thank you for all your constructive comments on my works.

I love where this has gone - and this is such an interesting and artistic quilt! How big is this? I'm picturing this on a bed, where it would dominate the room, but it's being WAY too awesome for that. I'm sure it will end up on a wall, instead, where it belongs, yes?

And I really like how you resolved the trees - on both sides.

Your quilt is great Corryna...it looks like a watercolor painting!

Your tree art piece is fabulous! There is so much depth, both in your composition as well as the emotional content.
Glad to hear you're feeling better. I've had congested lungs for 3 weeks and it's getting mighty tiremsome.
